Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 2 medium very ripe bananas The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful.
  • ½ cup nut butter Peanut butter or almond butter works well.

For the Dry Ingredients

  • 1 scoop protein powder Choose your favorite flavor.
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder Unsweetened cocoa for rich chocolate taste.

Optional Topping

  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips For an extra chocolatey goodness.

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mash the very ripe bananas in a medium-sized bowl using a fork.
  • Add the nut butter to the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.
  • Incorporate the protein powder and cocoa powder into the mixture, stirring until smooth.
  • Place 8 silicone baking cups in a muffin tin.
  • Evenly divide the batter among the prepared baking cups.
  • Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top if desired.
  • Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the cups.
  • Carefully remove from molds or liners and serve.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for sweetness and ensure to cool the bites completely to firm up their shape. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
