  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform or cake pan by greasing it with butter and dusting with flour.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the three room temperature eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  • Gently mix in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
