  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 5 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt until well combined.
  • Cut in 6 tablespoons of cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Mix in ⅔ cup of half-and-half, ¼ cup of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract until just combined.
