Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13x9 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine unsalted butter and granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until melted and dissolved, then let boil without stirring for 5-7 minutes until light amber.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Pour the toffee evenly over the crackers.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee using a spatula.
  • In a small bowl, mix heavy cream and vegetable oil, microwave for 30 seconds, and stir until smooth to create ganache.
  • Drizzle the ganache over the chocolate layer and spread evenly.
  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the chocolate layer.
  • Let cool completely for about 2-3 hours at room temperature or 1 hour in the fridge.
  • Once cooled, break into pieces and serve.
