Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a non-stick donut pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, and rainbow sprinkles.
  • In another bowl, melt butter, then mix in eggs (or applesauce), sugar, and almond milk until smooth.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Transfer the batter to a plastic zip-top bag, snip off a corner, and pipe into the donut pan.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes until they spring back when touched and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, melted butter, almond extract, and add milk to reach desired consistency.
  • Dip cooled donuts in glaze and add additional rainbow sprinkles if desired.
