  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Sour Cream

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter and 2 cups of granulated sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed for about 3-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in 2 eggs one at a time, then add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and mix on low speed until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture and 1 cup of sour cream to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the flour. Mix until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, combine 0.75 cup of brown sugar with 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon. Stir until mixed.
  • Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over it.
  • Add the remaining batter to the pan and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Gently swirl through the batter with a knife to create a ribbon effect.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
