Step-by-Step Instructions for Lemon Brownies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grab an 8×8-inch baking dish. Line the dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal, or lightly grease it with butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar. Beat the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy, about 2–3 minutes.
